Australian Open Kids BallparkThe AO Ballpark, a mini onsite theme park, is back in 2018 with plenty of fun for kids of all ages. This colourful and exciting space features some of the most popular Disney brands for the first time, including Star Wars, Marvel and Disney Princess. The popular LEGO and NERF zones also return. With a mix of adventurous activities, entertainment and the chance to rub shoulders with some of your superheroes, the AO Ballpark is a must-visit for all families.  Zipline A 60-metre dual zip line is one of the centrepieces of the AO Ballpark - transporting kids of all ages right into the heart of the mini theme park with a view like no other. It is suitable for kids of all ages and heights.  NERF Battle Zone HQ Complete the ultimate NERF challenges in this specially designed NERF Battle Zone HQ. Kids can battle it out as a team, working together to earn points and overcome challenges. With two NERF arenas and all the best NERF Blasters on offer, kids can put their favourite product to the test as they try to beat the best-of-the-best on the leaderboard!  ANZ Tennis Hot Shots Fan Zone This zone in the AO Ballpark includes the always popular ANZ Tennis Hot shots mini courts. There is also an all-new ‘Fan Zone’ – featuring a brand new agility gauntlet, a hit-the-target drill, reflex testers and much more. Coaches are onsite to help kids with everything they need to know about playing tennis.  LEGO City Build Zone Come and experience the LEGO City Build, featuring a number of challenges to showcase your building skills! Go head-to-head with a friend or beat the clock in the Speed Challenge. Can you reassemble the model from memory in the Blindfold Challenge? Perhaps you want to let your creativity flow, which you can do on free play tables.  AO Ballpark Stage The AO Ballpark stage will come alive with entertainment, autograph sessions, stage shows and activities hosted all day. Facepainting Kids can show support for their favourite players, or transform into anything they like with free face painting in the AO Ballpark. For parents, it is a chance to enjoy some air-conditioned comfort in the AO Ballpark marquee while their kids get a unique makeover.  Disney Princess Adventure Zone High Ropes Course The only one of its kind in Australia! With four climbing and balance activities taking place six metres above the ground. Participants are never disconnected from their safety line as they move around the six metre x six metre square. An extreme activity that will be an absolute hit for all ages.  Moana Surfboard Ride the waves and show your grit and determination like Moana on the mechanical surfboard. Craft Boats Take a stroll along the deck and join in the fun in the Disney Princess Craft Boats with a number of activities to choose from.  Star Wars Padawan Training Padawan Robe Our Jedi Assistants greet each participant on arrival and assist them with getting into their robe, ready for training.  Padawan Training The Jedi Master leads the young recruits through a 15-minute training session, showing them what it means to be a Jedi and light saber training before welcoming them as a Padawan of the Jedi Knights Certificate Participants receive a certificate on completion of the training, and have an opportunity to pose for photos with their Jedi Master.  Marvel Experience Spider-Man Climbing Wall Show your agility as you climb like Spider-Man up this six-metre tower, themed like a New York apartment building. With four climbing lanes, plus an additional two lanes with Quick Drop extreme descent, this is certain to be a hit with kids of all ages.  Hawkeye Target Challenge Grab your team as you compete against others in the Hawkeye Target Challenge. With your NERF bow and arrow and the utmost precision, can you knock down your opposition's target wall? Avengers Vertical Ball Maze In teams of two, participants manipulate a circular ball maze (featuring Avengers icons) using ropes. Players must work together to get the ball from the centre of the maze to the outside as quickly as possible.  Thor’s Hammer An interactive photo opportunity with Mjolner – are you worthy? Choose your Mark: Begin your journey as a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent in training as you complete this fun quiz to find out which Avenger you align with, and receive your Mark (temporary tattoo) to wear with pride.
