MARVEL UNIVERSE TO UNITE AT FED SQUARE AND ACMI MARCH 3, 2018
Attention all Marvel fans for one day only The Marvel Universe will unite at Federation Square and the ACMI, to celebrate the 10 years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the lead up to Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War. Bringing together the Marvel world, characters and stories we all know and love here in Melbourne.
Come along from 12pm to 5pm and join in on this FREE event which will feature a Marvel Training Zone, where attendees can take on the Marvel Avengers Training Course, work as a team to solve the Avengers Puzzle Challenge, take their best shot in the Hawkeye Target Practice, battle it out at the Marvel Nerf Zone and pose like a hero with Thor’s hammer and Captain America’s shield.
This will make the perfect day out for families and Marvel fans of all ages, an opportunity to cast your eyes on never before seen product for Avengers: Infinity War, available to purchase at the Marvel pop-up shop and join in on the fun at the main stage with interactive games, live entertainment, prize giveaways and more.
Activities will include, chance to create your own comics, test out the latest tech products, pose with the Infinity Gauntlet and experience Black Panther in augmented reality. Even get to see your favorite Avenger characters performing shows and opportunities to pose for a photo with Spider-Man, Thor, Black Widow, Iron Man and Captain America.
Join in the fun and come dressed up as your favourite Marvel Super hero for your chance to WIN prizes at the kids and adults costume competition, held at 2.00pm and 3.00pm.

Easy access around and in the aircraft The design of the 17m long Cargo Plane (J2690) meets the needs of children with disabilities by incorporating specific facilities (ramps, wide platforms) and an appropriate selection of play activities. A wheelchair accessible ramp and a large space inside enable children in wheelchairs to play with other children, regardless of the different abilities of each child. There is also plenty of room for carers to assist.
The Cockpit The cockpit has 2 control columns, one of them can be accessed and used by a child seated in a wheelchair. The instrument panel incorporates a play panel to encourage fine motor skills.
Educational play panels Located inside and readily accessible, the play panels provide manipulative play and concentration activities. They help with vision, observation and hand-eye coordination.
Pod Swings With its large wraparound seat, the Pod Swing is reassuring, both physically and psychologically. It combinesmotor coordination and sensory stimulation while encouraging social play. Children of all abilities are able to enjoy swinging together, and there is room for an accompanying adult to join in and provide support. Additional play equipment Additional play equipment that matches the aeronautical theme includes an Aviator character Play Panel,Stella Springer (J856) and Looping Plane Springer (J3961) which encourage role play, imaginative play and social interaction of younger children. Older children will have lots of fun riding the Double Spring Perch (J986) that is also included in the playground.

Coordinated by the show’s official charity partner, Kids Under Cover, all proceeds go to the charity’s youth homelessness prevention programs. As adults watch bids soar, children can meet the Dulux dog, who will be on-site for pats and photos.
