The Imperial Bourke has reopened its magical rooftop bar
Back by popular demand, we can now announce The Imperial Bourke Hotel's magical (and newly winter-proofed) rooftop is open for business after Warner Brothers decided it was a bit too close to Harry Potter's intellectual property.
That being said, this time around, they have introduced 4 new stores:
Messrs Moores & Meager Magical Fashions – For the discerning witch & wizard
Spring St Spell Books – Melbourne’s most comprehensive collection of magical books. From herbology, werewolf autobiographies, spell work, magical cooking & more.
Spellbound Sweets – Your go-to for wizarding toys, tricky gifts & supernatural sweets
Parliament Wands – Makers of Fine Wands since 1901
MacArthur Broomsticks – Fly right with MacArthur
Imperial Potions Co – For all your potion making needs
All rooftop booths (stores) are housed underneath a newly installed large marquee to keep you toasty warm & dry throughout the colder months.
Stores can be reserved for group 10-20 guests. Please note, reservations are not available on Friday nights. If you have a smaller group, just come on in, no reservation required.
Only a short walk from the Princess Theatre, this is the perfect pit-stop for theatre goers – pre, post or during intermission.
That’s not all, folks! The team of master potion makers behind the bar have also crafted a brand new cocktail list. Sip on specialty potions like Chuckle Juice, FireWhiskey or the Imperial Tattletale.
