MELBOURNE MUSEUM, IMMIGRATION MUSEUM, SCIENCEWORKS AND IMAX MELBOURNE TO REOPENMuseums Victoria has announced that Melbourne Museum, Immigration Museum and Scienceworks will reopen from Monday 16 November and IMAX Melbourne from Thursday 19 November following the Victorian Government’s latest easing of coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions. An exciting new addition to reopening plans, the Melbourne Museum Plaza will be transformed into a safe and family-friendly summer outdoor space hosting live performances and entertainment, movies curated by IMAX Melbourne and special food and beverage offerings. Over the coming months, visitors of all ages can enjoy their favourite museum galleries as well as brand new exhibitions. For the latest details about everything on offer, including the new Melbourne Museum Summer Plaza Series, keep an eye on the Museums Victoria website and social media platforms. Tickets for Melbourne Museum, Scienceworks and Immigration Museum will be available for Museum Members from Wednesday 11 November at 1pm and for the general public from Friday 13 November at 1pm.
