NEW PLAYGROUND

Gumnut Park & Adventure Playground

With Victoria opening up and the ability to drive further out to explore more of Melbourne than ever before, I thought I’d share the recently completed Gumnut Park & Adventure Playground located at Mirvac’s masterplanned community, Olivine in Donnybrook in Melbourne’s North.

Set amongst 200-year-old Red River gum trees, the playground is inspired by Australian author May Gibbs’ iconic Snugglepot and Cuddlepie characters offering amazing experiences for children of all ages including:

• Three timber gumnut play towers and two mega slides
  
• A double flying fox
  
• A large rope and timber climbing structure
  
• A sand play area ideal for younger kids
  
• A precinct suitable for older kids including skate ramps and a half basketball court
  
• Two large picnic shelters with barbeque facilities.
  

Planned with parents in mind, the playground is adjacent to a new café, Shared Cup offering expansive views of the playground. Parents can enjoy a delicious coffee and menu with the café open from 7am to 5pm daily.
