"What a truly magical experience"

Picture
I've heard of film concerts before with other films in different theaters when we heard Harry Potter was being played by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra here in Melbourne. We really didn't know what to expect! My son is a huge Harry Potter fan and went along with his dad (@Melbournedad).

Concert
What an experience!  Pictured above The Chief Conductor Nicholas Buc was full of energy and made the show even more enjoyable along side the magnificent Melbourne symphony orchestra.
The crowd really makes the atmosphere. You almost feel this common love for Harry Potter with Kids and adults mostly dressed in wizard outfits, house colors, and showing off their wands.

My son enjoyed how the crowd got so into it. When ever a character would come out everyone would cheer or boo! making it feel like he was apart of the whole experience "it was great". My son said "I felt like i was watching the film for the first time".
At times Hubby said he would forget the orchestra was even there at times because he got so lost in the whole experience.
Definitely got the chills every now and again when main themes got belted out making a truly amazing experience.

 Location
Located right across the street from Crown Casino for those who arrive early could purchase merchandise scarfs, jumpers, wands ect , audience who arrived early also received a special pre-concert talk from the wizards behind the Art of the Score podcast! which hubby and my son found very interesting and great to hear the conductor going thought the different scores and instruments to each characters themes.
Highly recommend taking the family to these events, What better way to introduce the children to classical music than with their beloved film series performed live in concert. Melbourne Symphony Orchestra will play Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in November 2018 – and if you’re a fan of Harry Potter, you absolutely must be there.
